WE ARE CELEBRATING: HOLMES RUN ACRES IS 70 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR!

​The first section of HRA homes opened in October of 1951. We will celebrate throughout this coming year with special anniversary events.
​​

• Residents’ Arts and Crafts Exhibit  - March 12, 2022 **POSTPONED**
• Super House and Garden Tour - May 14th, 2022 (Rain date: May 21st)
• Special Children Events - will include monthly storytellers in Luria Park during April to October 2022.
• Closing Party / Concert to wrap up the celebration year in early October 2022.
• And more TBA

We have a rich history, which you can read about in "The History of A Community, Holmes Run Acres", Volumes I, II, III on our Historical Images and Documents page. These are also available in our HRA archives at the Fairfax County Library Virginia Room. Paper copies can be requested.
