Runner Background The Holmes Runner is the voice of the Holmes Run Community. Sponsored by the Holmes Run Acres Civic Association, The Runner has been written, printed, and distributed regularly since 1952. The Runner is published quarterly and is free to Civic Association members and by subscription to all others. The Runner welcomes appropriate articles, news, poetry, illustrations and suggestions! SPRING 2018 Issue
For the Spring issue, we’re going to create a “Match Game” — we publish photos of you and your neighbors at a much younger age, and you put a name to the face. All you have to do is send a digital photo to us — that’s it. We’ll display the photos in an anonymous fashion and you get to guess who’s who. (An answer key will be available to check your accuracy.) In addition, we’d love to have any articles, travel stories, photos, or poems that may be of interest to the neighborhood. Also, please send your news announcements, such as births, graduations, marriages, etc., for our Talk of the Acres column. Deadline for submissions is April 19, 2018. Contact Mary Beth Gardiner or Haleh Peterson for further information. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Runner Schedule (Issue and delivery time)
