We are fortunate to live in one of the most highly rated school districts in the country, Fairfax County Public Schools. Our local schools are:

• Woodburn Elementary School - A wonderful school with a special focus on the arts located in the heart of HRA on Hemlock Drive

Other FCPL options open to HRA residents include foreign-language immersion programs and elementary magnet programs with enrollment by lottery, the full-time advanced academic program at Mantua Elementary School, and the International Baccalaureate program at Marshall High School. Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology is a magnet school serving students from several Northern Virginia counties.
