The listserv is a resident-only email group provided for information and announcements about the Holmes Run Acres neighborhood - our homes, activities, events, gardens, and much more. To join, please send a request to the HRACA with your name and address.
Holmes Run Acres Listserv Rules
- Every successful listserv starts with a clear set of rules and 'netiquette' for what will – and what won't – be allowed on the list. By taking this step first, we hope to avoid misunderstandings down the road.
- This listserv is limited to HRA news and information. Please post on topics that are relevant to Holmes Run Acres. No commercial solicitation is allowed. No politics.
- Be as passionate as you like when it comes to the things in the neighborhood you care about. But stick to the issues, not the personalities. Rudeness will not be tolerated.
- Let's keep our neighborhood friendly. Do not post any material that is embarrassing, defamatory, or could foreseeably cause distress and discomfort to any individual or group.
- The listserv has to stay legal. Do not post material that infringes on any person or entity’s copyright or other intellectual property. To be safe, assume that all material is copyrighted unless the author has explicitly stated that the material is in the public domain.
- Consider carefully before hitting the "reply all" button in response to a post. In most cases, it makes sense to reply only to the individual poster. Remember, "reply all" sends your email to the entire list.
- Please sign your messages with your name. After all, the best part of being in a neighborhood is knowing your neighbors.
- Keep in mind that the suggestions and comments of your neighbors regarding services and businesses – whether good or bad – are opinions resulting from their own experiences. Your experience may not be the same as theirs.
