Brat Autumn is Here! Celebrate HRA Oktoberfest 🍺
The Holmes Run Acres Civic Association is hosting its annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 5th, from 4:00-8:00 pm (or later) at the circle green on Sycamore Circle. (Note: this is a change from previous years)
We'll be serving up a variety of bratwurst, sauerkraut, beer, and festive music. Seating will be provided. If you'd like to contribute, feel free to bring a German-themed side or dessert—completely optional! RSVP here.
While this is an HRACA-sponsored event, a donation jar will be available if you'd like to contribute to helping cover this event and others throughout the year.
Lastly, don’t forget to bring your HRA Membership Forms—there will be a table for drop-off.

Halloween Parade and Day in the Park – October 27th!
Looking for more October fun? Join us on Sunday, October 27th for the HRA Halloween Parade & Day in the Park! The parade kicks off at 11:00 AM, followed by a day full of activities. We’re excited to bring back HRA Day in the Park, featuring a chili cook-off, games (including a classic cake walk), and a live band showcasing young, up-and-coming HRA musicians. Stay tuned for more details!

Thanks to everyone for coming out to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of HRA!
The Civic Association hosted a party at the HRA Pool on Sept 17th, open to all residents. Over 200 neighbors and friends came out, including original settlers and newcomers of less than 12 hours. Honestly, it was pretty magical. The highlight was the HRA Mixtape featuring live performances from our resident musicians. Please give them some love by attending an upcoming show, following them on social media, streaming their tracks on loop on Spotify, etc:

It was an unbelievably hot day, but there was a great turnout and all enjoyed celebrating the holiday with the neighborhood. So much fun cooling down with popsicles and running through sprinklers!
