Come celebrate 75 years of HRA the best way we know how: pretzels, brats and beer! Once again we will be bringing the party to Sycamore Platz from 4-8pm. After the wonderful response to our first HRAKids Business Fair last year, the Holmes Run Acres Civic Association is excited to bring it back! We loved seeing so many young entrepreneurs showcase their creativity, and the community's support made it a huge success. We can't wait to see what this year's kids dream up. Join your neighbors for HRA LambFest 2026, a morning of community, good food, and, of course, sheep! You can pet them, feed them, take photos, and watch them put their landscaping skills to work. We’ll also have freshly fired pizza, lemonade, and mimosas, plus sheep-, fiber-, and sustainability-themed activities for kids and adults. Woodburn Elementary School Cafeteria Join the Holmes Run Acres Civic Association for our annual community meeting, open to all members. Special guest Russ Rosenberger from Madison Homes will provide an update on the proposed development project across from Holmes Run Acres on Gallows Road and answer community questions. The evening will also include light refreshments and recognition of neighbors for their service to the community. We look forward to seeing you there. We’re kicking off a new Holmes Run Acres tradition with our first-ever HRACA St. Patrick’s Day Party. Enjoy live Irish pub music, a keg of beer, corned beef sandwiches, Irish soda bread, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks. A moonbounce will be available for kids. Join us for our now-annual HRA Pride Party — a tradition that began in 2018 and has grown into a vibrant mini block party. This year, we’re spreading the love to a new spot: Laurel Court. Saturday, June 14th | 3 PM RSVP now! 🫧 Bubbles, dancing, color, and community joy 🎶 DJ Cale 🌮 Taco truck 🍦 Ice cream truck Update: Due to mechanical issues, the taco truck is no longer able to come, but there will be an ice cream truck, jello-shots, and cold water to help beat the heat and curb any hunger pains. Bring a chair, drink of choice, maybe a poncho, and your dancing shoes for an afternoon of music, fun, and community. All are welcome — families, friends, allies, and neighbors.
