In February and March 2021, Fairfax County is conducting public outreach and seeking input from county residents and stakeholders on issues pertaining to the development of a Community-wide Energy and Climate Action Plan, or CECAP.
To capture public feedback on issues of particular importance, three different, short public surveys have been developed. The first relates to energy issues and topics, the second is dedicated to transportation, development, and waste-related issues, and the third includes open-ended questions to invite free-form feedback on the climate planning process in general. In Fairfax County, energy use and transportation are the two greatest sources of greenhouse gas emissions. The CECAP will address both issue areas, and with your input, we can ensure that the final plan reflects the needs of everyone in our community as we work to reduce our collective carbon footprint. Take the energy survey Take the transportation survey Take the general survey **All of the surveys will close at 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 14.** Once you have completed the climate planning public surveys, we encourage you to also take a survey to help inform the countywide strategic plan. You can find the survey here. Comments are closed.
