Take a look at the trees and shrubs that are featured here for ideas for your
garden. These plants were researched and selected for HRA gardens to suit woody
and shady conditions. Many of these plants were purchased and planted throughout
the Acres to kick off the 50th anniversary celebration.
Watering
Regularly Is Important
Remember to water your new garden additions regularly! Just because they
are a good size already does not mean they do not need regular waterings
for the first year or so they are new to your yard. Regular watering will
assist with healty root growth and establish your plant for many years
to come.
