Runner Background
The Holmes Runner is the voice of the Holmes Run Community. Sponsored by the Holmes Run Acres Civic Association, The Runner has been written, printed, and distributed regularly since 1952. The Runner appears approximately every other month and is free to Civic Association members and by subscription to all others. The Runner welcomes appropriate articles, news, poetry, illustrations and suggestions!

Runner Schedule (Issue and delivery time)
Fall - mid September
Holiday - early December
Winter - mid February
Spring - mid April
Summer - late June

Actual deadline dates are usually 2 to 3 weeks before publication, and can be found in The Runner, on p.1 of each issue.

Runner Archives
Fifty years of The Holmes Runner are archived in 2 locations. One is in the HRACA archives at Woodburn School Library.

The other archival location is in The Virginia Room of the Fairfax Regional Public Library in Fairfax.
