The Holmes Run Acres Civic Association Board of Directors manages and facilitates ongoing activities and community functions. Committees of the board include the Secretary, Treasury, Civic Affairs, Community Affairs, Membership and Hospitality, Programs and Social, and Youth Activities. HRACA also has representation on the Providence District Council and in the Federation of Civic Associations. In addition, there are a number of initiatives and ad hoc committees, such as the Emergency Preparedness Group, Neighborhood Watch, Beltway Widening Task Force, Community for All Ages, Historic Register and Architectural Design.

The board holds elections each spring through official ballots. We are always interested in new members, so if you want to run, call our vice-president, Paul Kulwatno, at 703 560-1746.

Board Meetings
HRACA Board meetings are open to all Civic Association members. Meetings are held in the homes of Board members on the first Wednesday of each month, except for holiday weeks. They begin at 8:00 p.m.
